Zurik® EMLV Electronic Dimmable LED Driver
The Zurik® EMLV Dimmable Driver is the most versatile and efficient dimmable electronic driver for single color output LED strips. This driver has a high power factor of up to 0.99, a universal input and perfect compatibility with a wide range of dimmers for flicker free lighting. Its high power efficiency, wide voltage input, and quiet operation make the EMLV the professional’s choice when it comes to flawless dimming.
With an increase in Power Factor from 0.65 to 0.99, Reactive Power is significantly reduced and efficiency substantially increased which means less chance for voltage drop and reduced energy bills. Additionally, the input voltage range of 100-277 VAC (the input range for the 200W and 300W versions is 110-277 VAC) has been extended from the previous version's range of 100-130 VAC, making it ideal for projects worldwide.
Our Zurik® EMLV technology provides perfect dimming and compatibility with our single color output LED strips when using forward phase, reverse phase, electronic low voltage, or magnetic low voltage dimmers from a wide variety of brands. Find our full list of compatible dimmers here.
Note: All the 12V SKUs of this product have been discontinued and will not be restocked. |

Zurik® EMLV Electronic Dimmable LED Driver Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main differences between MLV and ELV transformers?
Magnetic Low Voltage and Electronic Low Voltage are both dimmable transformers designed for AC dimming setups. MLVs on the inside however, run with coils that create a magnetic flow that reduces 120 VAC to low voltage 12-24 VDC, the solid core makes these units heavier and larger. ELVs on the other hand, run with electronic circuits that convert 120 VAC to 12-24 VDC which makes these units lighter, more compact and easier to install in confined areas.
How are the previous Zurik® EMLV and new EMLV power supplies different?
The 3 main differences between the previous EMLV and the new EMLV are the Power Factor which is increased to 0.99 on the new EMLV making it a more efficient unit. The voltage input threshold is also higher on the new EMLV going from 100-130 VAC on the previous EMLV up to 100-277 VAC (110-277 VAC for the 200W and 300W versions) making it more versatile for international and commercial projects. Finally, the compatibility with a wider range of AC dimmers is better with the EMLV. For a full list of compatible dimmers for the new EMLV, click here.
The dimming system I want to use is not on the list, does that mean it won’t work?
The dimming systems on the list have been tested and are guaranteed to work with our Zurik® EMLV power supply. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t use a different dimmer, you can test the system with our products if they meet the requirements but we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility.
What does the “Auto Circuit Protection” mean?
Auto Circuit protection is an automatic recovery breaker inside the transformer. This means that for safety, if the unit detects overheating, overloading or short circuits that affect the proper functioning of the system the internal breaker will trip cutting off power and will automatically trip back once the fault has been removed.
