Why choose Accent™ Dynamic Series?
If you are seeking breathtaking lighting that gives you full control over specific hues of white, then this strip is for you. Whether you’re a designer, contractor, or homeowner, the Accent Dynamic Tunable Series checks all the boxes on your list: brilliant brightness, uniform lighting, intricate customization, easy installations, and more. Inspired by our previous ColorBright™ Dynamic Tunable White Series, we doubled the LEDs on the Accent Dynamic Tunable White Series and also made improvements to the run length, the CRI, and its PCB.
Suit any Mood
Lighting and emotion goes hand in hand. That’s why finding the perfect shade of light to fit your mood has become a highly sought-out feature. Take advantage of tunable LED lighting to adjust from a crisp, invigorating white light to help you cook, and then gradually switch over to a warmer white to help relax and unwind your day. Commercial spaces have been using this technology for years, such as hotels and restaurants mimicking the sun’s schedule, but people can achieve this in their homes as well.
Improve your Lifestyle
The type of light you surround yourself with not only dictates how you feel, but it influences your daily routine. Lighting color, purity, and CCT can affect your emotions, health and sleep patterns. High CCTs like the midday sun help us stay awake and focused. However, your circadian rhythm (internal clock) can be disrupted by the constant exposure of high CCT man-made lighting, such as the blue light from computer screens. Tunable white LED lighting helps realign your natural circadian rhythm. You can change the CCT from cool to warm, adjusting the tone based on your needs.

UltraBright™ Dynamic Tunable White LED strip light FAQ:
Q: What's special about this product?
Choosing the correct color temperature lights for your project is very important, and as important as the brightness you choose. With alternating 2700K warm white chips and 6200K cool white chips, you are able to control the color of white with your fingertips, all while having sophisticated lights boasting an exceptionally high CRI of up to 98.
Q: What is a 2216 SMD LED chip?
A 2216 surface-mounted diode (SMD) is a new, high-density efficient LED chip. The number represents the size of the LED chips on the strip. A 2216 SMD chip measures at 2.2mm x 1.6mm. Click here for more information on LED chip sizes.
Q: What is the product warranty?
Because of our unyielding confidence in the quality of our product, we offer a 15-year warranty on our Accent Dynamic Tunable White Series LED strip lights. For more info, please read our warranty policy and learn how Flexfire LEDs have the longest warranty on the market.
Q: What is the lifespan of your strip lights?
Our lights have been rigorously tested and have an expected lifespan of 50,000 hours before dropping to 70% luminosity. This means that if you were to use your lights 12 hours a day, every day, the lights would be expected to last longer than 10 years. Even after that time has elapsed, the lights will maintain a brightness of 70%. Higher-output strips require a heat sink to reach the expected lifespan and beyond.
Q: What do I need to operate my lights?
To turn on these LED strips, you will need to connect them to a low voltage power supply and a Dynamic Tunable White compatible controller. For Dynamic Tunable White LED strips we recommend using our solderless connectors. If you are skillful at the art of soldering you can do so for more permanent connections, but please test your expertise on a small segment of strip before committing to solder your entire project.
Q: Which Power Supply do I need for my (x) feet of LEDs?
The length of LED strip lights of your project will determine the size of the power supply you need. View our Power Supply chart to find the exact LED power supply you need.
Q: What is CRI and TLCI and why should I care?
Color rendering index (CRI) measures how colors are correctly rendered under a light source in comparison to natural sunlight. The index is measured on a 0-100 scale with 100 being a perfect rating of color accuracy, meaning the colors appear as they naturally would under unadulterated daylight. High CRI lighting is sought out everywhere, but is particularly valuable in. The bottom line: the higher the CRI, the higher quality is the light source.
95 - 100 → Phenomenal color rendering. Colors appear as they should, subtle tones pop out and are accented, skin tones look beautiful, art comes alive, backsplashes and paint shows it's true beautiful full saturation. You have to see it to believe it!
90 - 95 → Great color rendering! Almost all colors 'pop' and are easily distinguishable. Noticeably great lighting starts at a CRI of 90.
80 - 90 → Good color rendering, where most colors are rendered well. You may not see items as fully saturated as you would like, but most people will not notice.
60 - 75 → Poor color rendering. Items and colors may look desaturated, drab, and at times unidentifiable (cannot see the difference between black and navy colored socks).
Television lighting consistency index (TLCI), a newer method to measure color performance and accuracy, uses software to compare colors to a standardized sample on a 0-100 scale. Mainly used in production, film, and photography, it is a great tool to measure the quality of the light emitted from a source.
85 - 100 → Errors are so minuscule that corrections would not be necessary.
75 - 85 → Room for improvement. An acceptable result is easily achievable.
50 - 75 → A colorist would want to correct the errors for an acceptable result, but it would take a long time to get there.
25 - 50 → Poor color rendering needing much improvement from a good colorist, but the result would not meet broadcast standards.
0 - 25 → Very bad color rendering needing drastic improvements from a good colorist, but the result would not be acceptable.
Q: What is color temperature? (CCT)
The color of light can be quantified by referring to its color temperature. White light is measured in Kelvins (K). Most white lights fall in a spectrum between 1800K and 6200K. When dropping below 3000K, the light becomes noticeably warmer. On the other end of the spectrum, the lights become cooler and emit a blue-ish tint as they rise above 6500K.
Q: What are lumens (lm)?
This is a quantifiable amount of light produced by an LED strip or other light-producing product, as seen by the human eye. In other words, this is one way we can measure how much light is produced. When comparing LED strip lights, you want to compare the lumen output as well as the CRI, watts/foot, warranty, and bin selection.
Q: What is the maximum run length of the UltraBright™ Accent Series before voltage drop?
The maximum continuous line of lighting in series is 32ft (10m) for 12V, 39ft (12m) for 24V, and 65ft (20m) for 48V versions. Longer connections are possible in parallel with the correct power unit.
Q: Can I cut the strips myself?
Yes, our LED strip lights are made to be cut to your desired length. Using sharp scissors, you can cut this strip every 2". You’ll see the cut marks printed on the surface of the strip.
Q: What is the importance of UL Listed?
The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) are an independent, not-for-profit organization that focuses on evaluating products for safety certification. This means you can use and install these LEDs in commercial spaces, industrial applications and in your home knowing that these are safe products.
