With its classic wall dimmer appearance and ability to control a large LED load with flicker free dimming, the new AmbienTech DimTech Wall Dimmer gives people everything they’ve been looking for in a dimming system! It’s even compatible with the Leona Smart™ phone app and both Alexa and Google Home smart speakers without having to use a bridge or hub.
Utilizing a wireless RF signal between the wall dimmer and the AmbienTech DriveTech LED Driver, DimTech is able to use the same wiring method as a standard wall dimmer, reducing labor time and installation cost when compared to other systems that require a separate set of wires to deliver a data signal. DimTech was designed to match the style of your existing switches. With its complete system solution, it delivers a familiar installation process and precise performance, eliminating unnecessary components and compatibility issues.
DimTech performs automatic pairing by just turning on the switch. Simply get all of your DriveTech drivers connected to the DimTech dimmer and then turn it on. Once paired, you can start adjusting the brightness of your lighting to match the moment and bring out the best in your space. For additional control over your lights, download the Leona Smart™ phone app and create schedules using the product’s timer feature or program preset scenes that can activate at the tap of a button or with the command of your voice when pairing the system with a Google Home or Amazon Alexa smart home speaker system.

Q: Is a neutral wire required with AmbienTech System Devices?
Yes, a neutral wire is required for use with the AmbienTech system.
Q: Do I have to use AmbienTech drivers in order to use the AmbienTech dimmers?
Yes. The AmbienTech system is a self-contained system with drivers that have built-in RF control components that link to the AmbienTech dimmers. If you do not purchase AmbienTech drivers, your dimmer will not function.
Q: What types of light can I control with an AmbienTech system?
You can control dynamic tunable white lighting or static white lighting, but please note that the appropriate components have to be purchased for the style of lighting that you are attempting to control. DimTone and DriveTone products control tunable white lighting, while DimTech and DriveTech products control static white lighting.
Q: Does 3-way/multi-location capability exist with AmbienTech Dimmers?
Not at this time.
Q: Does this work with Amazon Echo or Google Assistant?
Yes, use your smart speakers to adjust basic color temperatures of your lights as well as the brightness. Simply use the Leona Smart™ or AmbienTech SmartAir™ phone apps and follow the instructions within the preferred app to link your products to either Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
